Recommended Paddler Weight:
This boat is suitable for just about everyone. It is known to work for those just above 50kg (110lbs) and also those way over 100kg (220lbs). The acid seems to be one of the few craft that is truly one size fits all in terms of paddler weight.
Construction:
The main material the Acid is built from is polyester reinforced fibreglass, with gelcoat exterior of the colour of your choice; thwarts are of reclaimed wood with Danish oil.
All boats come with a standard 50mm wide Yaker Tape on the bottom edge of the canoe in wear zone.
As a note, this boat is recreated from a discontinued OC1 mould. It does have some imperfections in the mould. The boat it creates is brand new with a few minor imperfections showing. Once you've paddles it once, you won't care. This boat will bring a big Smiley Face to you just as it is on the boat!
