Standard outfitting

Ready to make your own

The principal components arrive in place, but the foam is deliberately prepared for final shaping around the individual paddler.

The Acid’s established one-size character does not remove the need for careful personal outfitting and a reliable wet exit.
  • Saddle, bulkhead, sidewalls, hip pads and knee pads supplied ready to shape
  • Foam is initially left unglued for personal fitting
  • Recommended saddle height is approximately 8½–9 inches
  • Reclaimed-wood thwarts with A2 stainless-steel fixings
  • Metallic-orange anodised aluminium grab handles
  • Webbing loops ready for a lap belt or thigh straps
  • Saddle cut-outs for strap routing and water transfer

Before paddling

Fit, test, adjust.

Shape the outfitting gradually, make sure all release systems work under load and carry out the first wet-exit practice in controlled conditions with appropriate support.
