Ready to make your own
The principal components arrive in place, but the foam is deliberately prepared for final shaping around the individual paddler.
The Acid’s established one-size character does not remove the need for careful personal outfitting and a reliable wet exit.
- Saddle, bulkhead, sidewalls, hip pads and knee pads supplied ready to shape
- Foam is initially left unglued for personal fitting
- Recommended saddle height is approximately 8½–9 inches
- Reclaimed-wood thwarts with A2 stainless-steel fixings
- Metallic-orange anodised aluminium grab handles
- Webbing loops ready for a lap belt or thigh straps
- Saddle cut-outs for strap routing and water transfer
Before paddling
Fit, test, adjust.
Shape the outfitting gradually, make sure all release systems work under load and carry out the first wet-exit practice in controlled conditions with appropriate support.
