Standard outfitting

Ready to make your own

The principal components arrive in place, but the foam is deliberately prepared for final shaping around the individual paddler.

Keep the supplied saddle height unless you have a well-tested reason to change it; the height provides leverage when manoeuvring the canoe with water aboard.
  • Saddle, bulkhead, sidewalls, hip pads and knee pads supplied ready to shape
  • Foam is initially left unglued so the paddler can personalise the fit
  • Recommended saddle height is approximately 8–9 inches
  • Reclaimed-wood thwarts with A2 stainless-steel fixings
  • Front and rear twisted-rope grab handles
  • Three-colour 3 mm airbag lacing
  • Webbing loops ready for a lap belt or thigh straps
  • Saddle cut-outs for strap routing and water transfer
  • Protective edge wear tape on the lower rails

Before paddling

Fit, test, adjust.

Shape the outfitting gradually, make sure all release systems work under load and carry out the first wet-exit practice in controlled conditions with appropriate support.
